Islander Ferry Guide

Islander is Brittany Ferries’ conventional ferry for Guernsey. She sails Portsmouth to Guernsey and, on Saturdays until 31 October 2026, Guernsey to St Malo. From 4 November 2026 she sails Guernsey to Cherbourg, five days a week in winter. She carries up to 400 passengers, with en-suite cabins, two lounges and pet-friendly cabins.

She’s slower than the high-speed Voyager, but has cabins, a brasserie and a wine bar for the longer crossings. Condor Ferries bought her in 2023, and after Brittany Ferries took over Condor she was renamed Islander and repainted in Brittany Ferries’ colours in March 2025, after a month-long refit in Poland.
